Stacy (she / her) is an ICF Associate Certified Coach who works as a leadership coach and consultant supporting non-profit and campaign leaders. Before becoming a full-time partner with Women's Brain Trust, she worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America for 8 years. After 5 years of leading issue and policy programs across the organization, in 2019 she began serving as a Director on the Government Relations team running continuous coaching cohorts, planning and facilitating team meetings and retreats, and working with senior leaders around employee engagement and retention.

Stacy began her career as a teacher with Teach for America in Washington, DC, where she taught physical education and reading to elementary school children. She worked as a community organizer for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, which launched her into a now two-decade long career as a  campaign strategist and advocate focusing on strategic planning, training, meeting facilitation, leadership development, and partner and volunteer engagement. Stacy served as the Executive Director of CA Young Democrats from 2006 to 2009, running peer-to-peer organizing programs specifically targeting young people of color. She has worked on four electoral campaigns at various levels, including for the 2012 Obama campaign. Stacy has also supported campaigns with organizations working on issues from community college funding to health care. She served as the Executive Director of the Student Success Project, partnering with state and local school districts to help them navigate the political firestorm created around the Common Core standards, before shifting to work for Planned Parenthood Federation of America in 2014.

Stacy has trained and facilitated strategy sessions with a range of organizations domestically, including Moms Demand Action for Guns Sense in America and the Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients (CHAMP), and internationally taking her as far as Algeria and to Cyprus to train Egyptian political party leaders with the National Democratic Institute.

Stacy holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego in Urban Studies and Planning with a minor in U.S. History.

Originally from California, Stacy now resides with her family in Denver, Colorado.

Stacy is such a kind and caring person, which enables her to be a fantastic coach. She is able to thread the needle between so many of a client’s life experiences, and guide the client to their own conclusions about their thoughts and attitudes towards work - and then set realistic goals to work through them. Stacy has been such a valuable presence in my career growth and stage of life, and I hope to continue to interact with her in the future. Highly recommend her services - she will help to unlock great potential!
